Work and Work Area

Students
are responsible for their work and assignments

When students finish
their work-they clean up

Organization and
cleanliness are important in students’ work
o
Students will have points
taken off for messy work areas

Posters and Art
o
This is the Students’ classroom-Posters and
Art are welcome and must be approved by Mr. McClain
·
Come prepared to class
·
Five minutes before the
bell students are to clean-up
·
Students are dismissed
when Mr. McClain instructs-not when bell rings
o
No one leaves until the
class is clean
o
No standing by the door
or in the hallway
o
Do not leave by the
Emergency Exit
·
If case of a fire drill,
lock-down or special event, students are dismissed or instructed by Mr. McClain
Food and Drink
·
No food or drink allowed
in the classroom unless Mr. McClain specifies a special event or exception
o
Spilled food or drink can
destroy artwork or damage computers
·
Students should raise
hands to ask questions
·
Do not interrupt Mr.
McClain when he’s speaking
·
No profanity
·
No roughhousing
·
First Time Offense-
Warning

Second Time Offense- Referral
and sent to office and parents/guardians are notified
